AQD’s Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) committee attended a seminar-workshop on patent search and documentation from 16 to 18 April at Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. This is the second of a five-part series of training that the ITSO committee is required to attend prior to taking the accreditation exam.

The Philippine Phycological Society Inc (PPSI) in cooperation with SEAFDEC/AQD held its fifth national symposium and scientific meeting on 16 April at AQD’s Tigbauan Main Station (TMS) in Iloilo, Philippines.

AQD will harvest milkfish on 24 April from its Dumangas Brackishwater Station. These 250-400 gram-sized fish are priced at Php 80-100 per kg. Moreover, there will be tilapia harvest from AQD’s project site in Dingle, Iloilo on 26 April. The market price of tilapia is Php 85-100 per kilo for sizes 250-400 g per piece. AQD is harvesting pompano on 22 March from its Dumangas Brackishwater Station. The market price of the 400 gram-sized pompano is Php 240 per kilo. On 31 January, fresh milkfish will be harvested from AQD’s Dumangas Brackishwater Station. You can buy milkfish with sizes 250 g – 400 g ranging from Php 80 to Php 100 per kg. SEAFDEC/AQD’s Dumangas Brackishwater Station (DBS) is harvesting around 120-130 kilos of sea bass on 28 January. The retail price of the 250 gram-sized sea bass is Php 180 per kg. You may get in touch with AQD’s Materials Control Unit at (033) 511-8091 or (033) 511-9171 loc 320 for your orders.
