The 3rd Aquaculture Research Talk, with the theme “Bridging Science to the People” featured inspiring insights from SEAFDEC/AQD experts to encourage on-the-job trainees pursuing fisheries, aquaculture, and other related courses.

Aquaculture experts, researchers, fish farmers, and members of the academe gathered on 8 July 2025 for SEAFDEC/AQD's annual Farmers’ Forum held at the Tigbauan Main Station in Iloilo, Philippines.

Researchers from SEAFDEC/AQD showcased their research results during the 13th International Phycological Congress 2025, held from 8 to 13 June 2025 in Panglao, Bohol.

A team from SEAFDEC/AQD, led by Scientist Dr. Sheryll Avanceña, participated in the Giant Prawn 2025 Conference and Exposition held on 8–11 June 2025 in Huzhou, China.

Researchers from SEAFDEC/AQD and Japanese experts convened on 5 June 2025 at the Tigbauan Main Station for discussions on the next phase of collaborative research under the Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS).
