AQD and NFRDI: a partnership on capacity building

An agreement between SEAFDEC/AQD and DA-NFRDI (Department of Agriculture-National Fisheries Research and Development Institute) was signed on 18 February 2014 at Tigbauan, Iloilo to pool resources and technical expertise towards establishing an effective, relevant and responsive fisheries research and development.

As a part of this, the two institutions will partner in conducting a training course on Capacity building on information dissemination and data management from 9 until 18 March 2014. The objective of this course is to provide information & extension staff with skills in information dissemination, from development communication tools to management of institutional repositories and online executive information support.
