AQUATECH-Aquaculture Convention Philippines: is dubbed as the only technical event in the Philippines focusing on Aquaculture.  This expo aims to gather the main suppliers of equipment, supplies and services from all over ASIA-PACIFIC with the industry decision-makers of our country as well as the producers of seafood and aquatic products with international importers and distributors.

For the past two years, AQUATECH EXPO & CONVENTION PHILIPPINES has been gathering experts along with many stakeholders of the sector.  It is dedicated to continually update the industry with its latest technology and development by gathering people to contribute their expertise to provide current demands and needs of the industry.  This will be a two (2) day event comprising a valuable exposition of the latest technology in aquaculture with some companies to present their expertise and a technical conference program to address sustainable aquaculture with panel discussion which aims the public and private sector to participate in the discussion and facilitate the sharing of information and summarize the conference for a clear strategy to take the industry forward.

This year’s theme: Profitable Aquaculture: Supporting Sustainable Practices makes a difference.  The diverse array of topics blends with the stakeholders’ strategies and experience to promote sustainable aquaculture for sustainable production and profitability through an environmental ecological method.  Moreover, we will be highlighting some successful efforts by the concerned stakeholders that will have a special participation in the conference program.  In this way, we will make a better statement in integrating personal experience and factual information and studies.

This opts to create awareness of sustainable aquaculture among farmers, continue to develop towards its full potential, contribute to global economic growth and promote practical and economically viable farming, and management practices that are environmentally responsible and socially acceptable.

The aim of the conference is to highlight issues and challenges of sustainable aquaculture development and management, and us to be more aware and increase our knowledge to further improve a sustainable management plan for sustainable business.
