AQD promotes R&D programs at agri trade show

Stakeholders visit the AQD booth

SEAFDEC/AQD reached out to more than 400 stakeholders who visited its booth during the “AgriLink-FoodLink-AquaLink 2013” held from 10 to 12 October at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, Philippines. AQD offered technical consultation, promoted its programs to entrepreneurs, students & other stakeholders, and sold books and extension manuals.

On 12 October, AQD Chief Dr. Felix Ayson and scientist Dr. Fe Dolores Estepa lectured on “Aquaculture of pompano” and “Mud crab culture”, respectively. Also present in the exhibit were AQD research head Dr. Ma. Junemie Hazel Lebata-Ramos, scientist Dr. Ma. Rowena Eguia, associate scientists Dr. Frolan Aya & Ms. Jocelyn Ladja, senior technical assistant Engr. Emiliano Aralar and technical coordinator Ms. Grace Garcia who served as technical resource persons.

AQD has been a regular participant to the annual AgriLink.
