To discuss challenges on eel farming and report on the findings of eel studies, the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center / Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD) took part in the “International Technical Workshop on Tropical Anguillid Eels in Southeast Asia.”

Three decades’ worth of research on fish feed ingredients in Southeast Asia will be hosted in a soon-to-be-launched online database that aims to reduce the aquaculture industry’s reliance on fish-derived meals and oils, as well as significantly lower the cost of feeds.
