SEAFDEC/AQD and UMS: partners in aquaculture research

Sharing the same goals of strengthening and developing aquaculture research, a five-year agreement was signed between SEAFDEC/AQD and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) on 17 March 2015.

The terms includes: (1) collaboration among faculty and staff members for research, symposia, and other academic pursuits; (2) exchange visits by students; (3) joint research activities and (4) exchange of informational materials in education, training and research.

The agreement was signed between AQD Chief Dr. Felix Ayson and UMS Vice-Chancellor Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd. Harun Abdullah during the three-day International Conference on Marine Science and Aquaculture in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
