AQD scientists are PHILAJAMES officers

Five SEAFDEC/AQD scientists were elected as the new officers of PHILAJAMES Visayas (Philippine Association of Japanese Government Scholars). AQD scientist Dr. Fe Dolores Estepa is president; AQD scientist Dr. Rolando Pakingking is second vice-president; AQD associate scientist Dr. Helen Marcial is secretary; and AQD scientists Dr. Veronica Alava and Dr. Emilia Quinitio are board members. On 16 March, the new officers had their formal oath-taking in Iloilo City before the adviser-researcher of JICC (Japan Information & Culture Center) Mr. Shinchiro Kato.
