Invitation to Bid – SEAFDEC/AQD Cafeteria Concessionaire

The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center/Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD) is in need of a Cafeteria Concessionaire who will operate its cafeteria and provide catering services for official functions from 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2021. Interested bidders are enjoined to attend the pre-bid conference on 3 July 2020, 9:30 a.m., at SEAFDEC/AQD Multi-Purpose Hall. A site visit will follow after the conference. Guidelines on LFAAT Sample Acceptance and Releasing of Test Reports in view of COVID-19 Pandemic

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Laboratory Facilities for Advanced Aquaculture Technologies (LFAAT) of SEAFDEC/AQD requests external clients to observe the following supplemental guidelines on sample submission and releasing of test reports for laboratory testing/analytical services: Acceptance of samples will be at the main gate of the Tigbauan Main Station. The guard-on-duty will call the concerned laboratory staff for the client’s testing/analytical service needs. [COVID-19] FishWorld Temporary Closure

We would like to announce that SEAFDEC/AQD’s FISHWORLD museum-aquarium and visitor center is temporarily closed effective immediate, until further notice. This is in light of the growing concerns of COVID-19 in the Philippines. This temporary closure is in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 922 “Declaring a State of Public Health Emergency Throughout the Philippines.” FishWorld is implementing this safety measure to do its share in limiting the spread of the virus by avoiding the conduct of mass gatherings including field trips and tour visits.
