Vacancy: Financial Assistant 1

Vacancy: FINANCIAL ASSISTANT 1 (entry position only; could be FINANCIAL ASSISTANT 3 depending on the qualifications)

Assignment: Performance Management Group (Internal Audit), Management Group

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

Preferably:

  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), but not required;
  • With good scholastic records
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or related financial functions is an advantage;
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications and other computer-related tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong initiative, analytical thinking, and keen attention to detail
  • Possesses good interpersonal skills and professional work ethic

Summary of duties to be performed:

Provide support in internal audit activities; assist in the evaluation of internal controls and compliance with policies and guidelines; review and verify financial reports; maintain and organize audit and financial records and files; forward audit findings and recommendations to the Head for appropriate action; and perform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    • Transcript of Records and Diploma
    • Proof of passing the licensure examination (if applicable)
