Please be informed of the schedule of our upcoming bidding.
For those who intend to join the bidding, please take note of the following:
- Interested bidders must submit their (a) a letter of intent, (b) most recent or updated copy of the required documents, and (c) authorization letter for authorized representatives through email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via courier/mail addressed to The Chairman, Bids and Awards Committee, SEAFDEC/AQD, Brgy. Buyu-an, Tigbauan, Iloilo. All required documents must be received by the BAC not later than 4:00 pm on 23 July 2021. Zoom link for the pre-bidding conference will be provided only to those who have complied with the requirements.
- Performance Bond must be 10% higher than the down payment paid for the cost of the contract. Bond purchased from commercial banks or insurance companies of good standing and are based in Iloilo City will be accepted. A performance bond will be required only if Contractors request a down payment.
- All financial bids (FB) and all the necessary attachments must be submitted in hard copies not later than 4:00 pm on 2 August 2021. The FB must be sealed in an envelope and will be dropped at the BAC Bid box located at the SEAFDEC/AQD Main Gate. The bid amount must be in whole numbers.
- Only the bidders who were able to submit their FB on time will be provided with the link to view and witness the online opening of bids on 3 August 2021.
- The Bids and Awards Committee thru its Chairman reserves the right to extend the deadline for submission of bids and to reject any or all bid offers, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected parties, to waive any defects therein and to accept such offers as may be considered most advantageous to the interest of the Department.
