SEAFDEC/AQD invites
applications to the 6th Session of
|
|
The 20-week online training course is designed for farm managers/operators, farm technicians, fish farmers, policy planners, instructors, students, and other interested parties involved in fisheries and aquaculture. The course aims to enhance the learners’ knowledge and skills on health management in aquaculture. After the course, the learners shall be able to: (1) recognize diseased shrimps and fish; (2) identify the cause of the diseases; (3) explain how a disease develops; and (4) apply preventive and control measures to lessen the risks posed by disease. |

AquaHealth Online covers up-to-date information on warmwater fish and crustacean diseases, the causal organisms, the available options for disease prevention and control. Learners are provided a course guide, a textbook and a CD-ROM at the start of the course. The learning process occurs entirely via the Internet presided over by a Specialist of a particular module, an experienced staff with MS and PhD degrees. |

At the end of the training course, successful participants will be given a Certificate of Training. |
