Aquaculture Department, Tigbauan, Iloilo is in need of the following:
1. Technical
Assistant to be assigned at
Identification of Finfish Species Suitable for Polyculture
with Sea
Cucumber Project, Research Division.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences, Fisheries or related
sciences
Preferably:
Either male or female
With SCUBA certification and driver's license, but not required
Must be meticulous with details
Experience not necessary
Summary of duties to be performed:
To assist in setting up of experiments, daily maintenance of fish
tanks and assistance during
inventories and samplings
Requirements:

SCUBA certification and driver's
license, if there is any
2. Research Technician to be assigned
at MeraLV Contract Project, Research Division
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Fisheries
Preferably:
Must be female
At least one (1) year experience in larval rearing
Summary of duties to be performed:
To assist in the conduct of the feeding experiment of grouper
To undertake in counting the eggs, stocking and feeding the larvae
To undertake the daily cleaning of the rearing tanks and water
monitoring of the culture water
To assist in the chemical analyses of the larvae.
