SEAFDEC/AQD staff attend IEC development training

SEAFDEC/AQD staff attended IEC Materials Development Training conducted by the Western Visayas Agriculture Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (WESVAARRDEC) at Goducate Training Center, San Miguel, Iloilo last 11 to 12 August 2016.

The training aimed to equip participants with the skill of developing effective IEC materials for promotion or dissemination purposes.

The speaker, Knowledge Products Management Division OIC Ms. Antonieta Arceo of the Agriculture Training Institute (ATI), discussed topics on IEC content development and knowledge sharing techniques for both print and social media.

Ms. Arceo emphasized that IEC materials should be specific, clear and simple in order to be effective.

Hands-on workshops were also conducted where the participants produced information materials for their respective institutions.

SEAFDEC/AQD’s Development Communication Section OIC Mr. Rex Delsar Dianala, Information Assistants Ms. Joesyl Marie de la Cruz, Ms. Gelyn Faigani & Ms. Rossea Ledesma and Technical Assistant Ms. Hananiah Sollesta attended the training.
